First Thrift Haul Video!

Hello everyone :)
I have just uploaded my first ever thrift hauling video.  It is a bit rushed due to the vast amount of clothing items I wanted to share with you guys, but hopefully you will still enjoy it.  This particular video features clothing items I have purchased to resell through my online eBay store.  I go to local thrift stores, find gently used, like new clothing, and resell it on my eBay store.  eBay is an awesome website that helps put some extra cash in your pocket, and in my case, helps me pay for school.  I will continue to post more thrift haul videos of all the great items I find in hopes that I can provide tips on what you guys can look for while thrifting that will earn you some cash!  The brand names and clothing styles featured will all be what is currently in demand and selling best online.

If anyone is interested in checking out my eBay store, you can visit my website here:  http://myworld.ebay.com/thrift*through*college
Hope you guys enjoy the video!  Please feel free to leave me feedback and point out anything you think I can improve on or include in the video to make it better.  Thanks :)

You Never Know What You're Going To Find!

I went thrifting this weekend and wanted to share my latest thrift store find with you guys.  This hand-beaded hand-carved wooden jaguar head was at my local thrift store.  The intricate beading design really caught my eye.  It was only $4 so I decided that it would be something cool to have in my apartment.  When I got home, I noticed a signature on the back from the artist that crafted the jaguar mask.  I decided to do some researching and found this website...

The jaguar mask I bought for $4 is worth $449!  Like I said you never know what you're going to find.  Always take notice of artist signatures on items and do your research!  It can really pay off :)

Where did you get that shirt?

"Where did you get that?"

This has to be one of my favorite questions to be asked because the reaction I receive from others when I answer them is fantastic!  90% of the time my answer is "The thrift store."  People cannot believe the things that I find at thrift stores. It's crazy the amazing items you can find for dirt cheap!  Monday was my first day back to class and I have already been asked about my clothes.  I have a very eclectic wardrobe and rarely sport an outfit that is strictly made up of one name brand's clothing.  I decided to post a blog and some pictures showing my casual start of a new semester look.  I also posted where I bought the different items that made up my back to college outfit.

I absolutely LOVE white leopard print!  This gorgeous white leopard print glitter long sleeve top is from Forever 21.  I got the shirt for $3.99 at Via Thrift Store :)

I paired this top with a black spaghetti strap long tank top since the top is semi-sheer (don't ever want to show too much off!).  The tank top was $1.99 from The Deb shop in the mall.  The great thing about the black tank is that you can pair it up with many different outfits.  Same with the black leggings that are Say What brand name.  I bought these for $0.99 at Goodwill.  I find it really hard to bring myself to pay $8 for leggings...I just can't do it.

My black gray fur trim boots are from Ross and cost me $15.99, but they were worth it! :)
Lastly the white dangle earrings are Forever 21 and I purchased them for $0.99 on eBay.

As I said before, my wardrobe is VERY eclectic as well as the places in which I purchase them.  Please never limit yourself to a specific brand name or brand new items.  You can find the same exact top or bottoms at a thrift store, gently used for 90% off the original price.  This casual back to school outfit is almost 100% thrifted and super cute :)
